BROOKLYN BOROUGH PRESIDENT ERIC ADAMS HONORED KHASOKHAS EDITOR DEEPAK PARIYAR

Brooklyn borough president Eric Adams has awarded Deepak Pariyar, an Editor of Khasokhas, a city citation. He has received an award from Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, and Kishor Panthi, Editor-in-Chief, handed it over to him in Queens, NY.
He has been honored for his two-decade-long contributions to society through journalism. People working in various fields of literature, journalism, social and cultural are honored with the award.
President Eric Adams said in a statement, “On behalf of all the Brooklynites, I greet Pariyar, a respected multi-faceted journalist in the South Asian community. I highly appreciate his experience of conducting community-based research independently and thorough research on various topics to understand the general public’s needs better.
Kishor Panthi, the editor-in-chief of Khasokhas, said that he is proud of Deepak’s honor.
Social activist Nabaraj KC said that the honor bestowed on Pariyar had given him more success in the social campaign through journalism.
