Yi ‘Andy’ Chen announces his candidacy with the support of many community elected officials and community leaders

Jackson Heights, NY: On Sunday, January 24th Mr. Yi “Andy” Chen announced his candidacy during his campaign launch in Jackson Heights at Diversity Plaza. There was more than 50 people present to show their support for Andy’s candidacy. The leaders of this district were joined by several elected officials.
NYS Assembly Member Jeffrey Aubry spoke about how Andy is already servicing our community so now he is taking the next step and was quoted saying: “I have work with Andy for several years as a leader that will represent residents of this council district. I look forward to working with him on he is elected. I wholeheartedly support Andy’s candidacy as our next council member of the 25th district.”
Council Member Koo was present at the announcement, and spoke about how “Andy is a capable young man with lots of business experience. He is compassionate and community minded. He understands what needs to be done in representing this community and to move it forward with his passion that benefits everyone.”
Former NYS Assembly Assistant Speaker Felix Ortiz stated “I have known Andy his entire political life and I can attest to his desire to serve his community. I believe that the residents of the 25th Council District will benefit from his experience and zest of service. Andy will make a great Council Member and I look forward to our continued relationship.”
