Although we all know that this year’s Thanksgiving is not like last year, I would like to wish all Americans to have a joyful and safe thanksgiving. Since last February, the people living in America have been facing the most challenging days in our history. Starting from February and March, New York City became the epicenter of Pandemic. We all suffered and felt tough days in our past and felt lots of pain in the nation. Many people got infected and suffered from Covid-19 and lost their loved one in front of us, which was really painful.

The situation is still not under control, but there has been a little hope behind the Covid-19 cure vaccine. American companies, including Pfizer, have been announcing that the Americans can get the Covid-19 vaccines soon, and of course, we can expect it as soon as possible.

Today, Americans are celebrating Thanksgiving all over the country. We all might have questions in our mind that how Americans are celebrating Thanksgiving day in this Pandemic? Lots of people may also have questions about how Macy’s is doing in this Pandemic? Did Macy’s organize the Thanksgiving parade? How Americans are celebrating the Macy’s parade in this Pandemic? You guys may have many questions that pop up in your mind, right? I also had a question pop up in my mind like- “Are the Americans who traveled from one state to another state to visit their loved one like last year? How about the beautiful street lights that used to be created by the thanksgiving travelers, I was hoping that, but unfortunately, all these questions have got just a single answer. “Oh no, not this year; we will be planning for next year .” One of my neighborhood women said, “This year, We all suffered unimaginable losses not only in our family, neighborhood, and county but also in the whole world, so how come we could celebrate? Many people lost jobs and businesses.

Then how come we celebrate, right? “I saw some tears in her eyes. She said, “Many people sacrifices their jobs, businesses and stayed following the laws and order that had been Implemented by the city and helped to stop the spread. They saved many lives by maintaining social distancing, using sanitizers, and wearing masks, so we sacrificed our visit this year, but we definitely celebrate next year.

I agreed with her and said, Happy Thanksgiving from my family to your family, and she smiled at me and said, thank you, and same to you. By the way, do you celebrate? I said, “Yes, I respect every culture.”

As we all know, a second wave is on our doorstep, and our sacrifice still matters. What the older lady said is one hundred percent correct. Not only Americans but also all people must work together to stop the Covid-19 and save our family and communities today. Then, I got the answer that the 2020 Macy’s parade became the virtual pared today; not many people were visited and celebrated but watched directly. That’s ok to celebrate virtually because we all are at least could save our community from the spread by minimizing the crowd. I heard many Americans sacrificed their Thanksgiving today by not visiting their loved one’s place because of Covid-19. What a painful situation, right? But still, Americans who did not celebrate and did not traveled are helping each other protect them from the spread.

Today, on this Thanksgiving day, only a few Americans can meet their relatives, but some of them are not, but still, they all are enjoying the virtual media, and I would like to thanks for the technology what the engineers made because using those technologies, some Americans are thoroughly enjoying their Thanksgiving day today. They exchange their gratitude to each other even though they cannot hug; what a pain? They are sharing their thanks to each other and feeling blessings with enormous joys in the family by virtual media, hopefully. And now, this is how I can imagine that all Americans are enjoying their Thanksgiving day today.

Finally, we all are very thankful to all Covid-19 heroes who contributed their hard work to this Pandemic. We are all very grateful to the people around us who really help us protect us from the spread saved our lives. Finally, I am really thankful to the community and country who really support us to survive in this Pandemic. Happy, safe thanksgiving eve to all Americans enjoy.
